Hi, I'm William Van Horne-
You may have landed on my website for a reason... Sometimes we can all use some friendly insight into our problems or a little help getting 'unstuck' in life. I provide authentic Tarot readings that can help. When you ask a question, I use my intuition and training in various Tarot traditions to interpret the message in a spread of cards. Then I send you a photo of the spread and a detailed written explanation of the message, including the card meanings.
I don't use readings for fortune-telling or to predict the future. Tarot readings work best to give us insights and help us think about something in new ways, to make connections we haven't seen, and to develop new perspectives. A reading can provide insight about life situations such as work, personal projects, relationships, interpersonal situations, etc. If you are on a spiritual path in your life or are working on developing yourself in some way, a Tarot reading can also be helpful.

3 Card Reading
This is the most common reading requested. Despite using just 3 cards it provides a large amount of insight into questions and queries and is usually all that is needed. Although 3 cards usually suffice, I may draw one or more additional cards during the reading to provide necessary clarity or information if I need it. I also always draw a bonus card at the end of the reading and ask for additional clarity about the reading. This is included in the original price. An extended spread involves multiple draws to refine understanding of the reading. I perform an initial 3 card spread. I build on this with another 3 card spread asking for insight into factors affecting the initial draw, and a third 3 card spread asking about outcomes. About my Tarot readings:
Instead of forcing cards into predetermined categories, like past, present, future, I use an open reading method. This means that I let the interactions between cards in the spread determine not only the individual card meaning but the overall meaning of the spread. I find this method dynamic and it produces much more meaningful readings.
Sometimes the meaning of a reading will be clear to you immediately. Sometimes it may not, but it will rattle around in your mind for a while. Then you’ll either figure it out by thinking it through or your subconscious will do it for you and you'll have a realization. This might take a few hours, days, or even weeks. We all would prefer instant gratification, but in these cases you just have to relax and be patient. For this reason, you shouldn't have readings too frequently. It's usually best to wait a few weeks so that the meaning becomes clear before having another reading, should you desire one. Sometimes, if you have a follow-up question based on a reading, a second reading soon after the initial reading to gain clarification may be appropriate. Frequent readings one after the other are counterproductive, since you don’t have time to think about the information and apply it to your situation and have the results play out.
If you feel you are in a serious life crisis you might be better served talking to a family member or friend, or religious or professional counselor, or even a crisis line if necessary, rather than requesting overly-frequent readings. Tarot readings are a helpful tool, but shouldn’t be a substitute for getting the help we need when we need it. We all go through rough patches when it is necessary to reach out to other people :-) Please take care of yourself first and foremost.
One last thing- the clarity of a reading is also tied to the clarity of your query. A clear, direct inquiry helps in getting clear guidance. Also, some brief context about why you are asking the question helps me to understand how the message in the cards applies to your query. A vague question and absence of context means that all I can give you is a general idea of what the cards are saying.

- All readings are completely private and confidential. I will not share or sell any of your information with anyone else.
- I reserve the right to decline any reading that I am uncomfortable with, that I find immoral or unethical, or that I believe is beyond my capabilities.
- I will not attempt to contact you to solicit business in the future in any way.
- In order to protect your privacy and data, do not send me your surname, email address, or other private information in any of our communications. I will only request your first name or nickname to use in your reading so that it is focused on you.
- If anyone purchases a reading but seems to be in a personal crisis that may adversely affect themself or others and/or gives indications they may need professional help, I reserve the right to refuse the reading and advise them to seek help.
- I strive to be professional, friendly, respectful, and inclusive to everyone.
- I will provide truthful and honest readings.

1) I do not offer Tarot Readings to anyone under 18 years of age. By accepting services for the reading you confirm you are 18 years of age or over.

Tarot cards do not depict any specific religion, are not “black magic”, satanic, or evil in any way.
13) There aren’t any ‘evil’ Tarot cards. Cards have images that are metaphors for problems we all face, but they also suggest possible ways of rectifying those issues. Tarot cards cannot predict death.
14) Tarot cards cannot predict the winning lottery number or provide gambling advice. They do not identify specific people.
15) I only give readings about the person who asks for a reading. I do not give readings about third parties such as spouses, children, ex-partners, etc. I do not make predictions about what others might be thinking, feeling, or doing.
